Where can I find old telephone books?

Answer

The Corpus Christi Public Libraries' Local History Department is located in La Retama Central Library and provides access to special collections, archives, digital and printed material that focus on genealogy resources, and history of the Corpus Christi area. This includes past phone books and directories that date back to 1904.

All material in the Local History Department is for in-house viewing in Murphy Givens room, located upstairs in La Retama Central Library. Some items are listed in the library catalog, but if you don't find what you're looking for, please contact the Local History Department staff for additional assistance.
